LJ is down and I need to write while I think of things.

I need a new mouse. For the last few days I've been flinging my mouse across the desk in attempt to get the cursor to move one inch on the screen, often with little success. There has been a lot of cursing under the breath. I'm usually quite patient with such things buts it's beyond me now. I'm sure that growling at a lump of plastic is not a sign of good mental health.

I love my cousins. I'm sure I must have mentioned this before, but I really am very fond of them all. This morning we received a birthday thank you letter from one who is around 12 or 13. Part of it reads thus:

"Dear Auntie,
Thank you very much for the £13 as I have put it in my bank, saving it for a plan of getting chickens because they are expensive."

He has a plan of getting chickens. I really love my cousins! His plan made my morning.

I shall now go back to wrestling with my mouse.
