Here's a photo of Martha (on the left) and Hilary. They're my two longest-standing friends. I've known Martha since I was born and I've known Hilary since I was 7 or 8. They've been really supportive, particularly through the M.E. They don't always understand it (as I'm sometimes painfully aware) but they accept what I'm telling them and work around it. I can't link to them (because they've got lives, not diaries!) but I want everyone to know who I'm talking about and how much I appreciate them. Martha's training to be a teacher (fool) and Hilary's an engineer working for this company.

I was going to put a picture of all three of us up but photos without me are always better than ones with me in.

Today has been somewhat depressing for a number of reasons (none of which I'm going to go into) but I suppose I'll pull myself together before long. John will be here on Tuesday and I'm really looking forward to that. But it doesn't stop me feeling violent and angry today.
